  • 3x3 snap down design* adjusts the sizing to fit small, medium and large sizes (approximately 7-35+ pounds).
  • Trim, snug and comfortable stretchy tabs* provide a custom fit.
  • Waterproof insert stopper* prevents leaking at the tummy.
  • Diapers are bundled with two inserts: a newborn insert for newborns and a one-size insert for your older baby.

All bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers include a small, lightweight insert for newborns and a larger one-size insert for your growing baby. When your baby outgrows the newborn insert, it works as an overnight booster or as extra absorbency for heavy wetters.

Cloth diapering has never been so easy!

bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers feature our patent pending butterfly closure system to provide a comfortable, trim fit. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables. The familiar design makes bumGenius one-size cloth diapers perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycares).

bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows. For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise.

Only the Best for Your Baby

The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuk in and help to keep red marks away. Our unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.

Happy Mother's Day!

What does it mean to be a mother? Well................. I am sure all you moms will have a different answer. Let me start: my son is the most precious gift I have ever gotten. Besides my husband he is the other love of my life.
Jonas, my two year old cut his finger the other day. He was bleeding and I think it might have hurt me more than it him. I literally felt sick to my stomach. The love I have for him is a love like no other, a love that makes me only want to protect him for as long as I can.
I guess I still didn't answer the question. Being a mother means your life will change more than you could ever imagine in the best way possible. It is a great responsibility, but I consider it such a privilege to be a mother. Sometimes I still can't believe I get to raise my little boy. He is such a gift and I am so grateful for him.
Happy Mothers Day from the Cloth Bottom family to yours. May your day be relaxing and full of many hugs and kisses from your babies.
God Bless,
Amy Laffan

Why Cloth Diaper? (guest post)

A short story of one mom's cloth diaper journey: written by Abby Dockery

so, a few weeks ago I decided to go cloth. cloth diapering, that is. I had always wanted to cover eden's booty in cloth, but used the excuse that I was in nursing school, and didn't have time for that hoo hah. and then I got freaked out by it again when we were pregnant with charlotte. thinking about newborn squirty breast milk poo and the many thousands of diaper changes. but a few weeks ago I took the plunge.
and my friends.
it is easy! it isn't a big deal! it isn't gross! and I LOVE THEM.
my cousin (3rd or 4th) named amy has been using them on her little birthday boy jonas for awhile now. after seeing his cute little bottom in them, and watching her be a real cloth diaper mom I realized it can't be that horrible. she helped me figure out the cloth diaper lingo, and gave me her opinions on the different types (she'd tried a bunch). I bought two different kinds and ended up loving one called bumgenius all in one organic something or other. I don't care that they are organic, I just like the snaps and that the diaper is one big thing...no inserts. although I hear some insert diapers are super.
I couldn't help but buy 2 that are pink. they are just so stinking cute. and for reals so much easier than you'd think. gone are the days of our mothers pins and plastic diaper covers. and it only adds a load of laundry a day.
so, three cheers for cloth diapers. I am a fan for life. I get excited about washing them and folding them, and putting them on charlotte's pudgy bum. and about my new shower sprayer (for the poo) . isn't that embarrassing? and not throwing diapers into the trash, saving cash flow, and it is easy on the sweet baby cheeks.
